I don't know why it's my favorite moment but it's just nice and it shows that I Love Lucy had meaning.

Great January Challenge! Good to recap the best of Lucy!

Simply Awesome

How awesome is this? This gives me so many ideas for a future basement of my own!

Check It Out

Fantasyland is getting REVAMPED! It's taking over Toontown and parts of the outskirts of the Magic Kingdom. It will open in late 2012.

I have a knack for this kind of stuff, huh? Yet another eerie picture involving Florida! It is the single construction crane looming over Fantasyland and Mickey's Toontown Fair. Here are the updates:

  • Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid-- It is a new attraction where people travel through Ariel's world. It has the classic song from the hit '90s movie.
  • The Be Our Guest Restaurant-- Located inside the Beast's castle, it features exquisite dining and features of the castle. It seats 550 people! And it has a gift shop nearby.
  • Enchanted Tales With Belle at Belle's Cottage-- A storytime place where Belle Lumiere, the candle, read to children.
  • The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train-- It is a roller coaster with mine carts that swing back and forth on the track. This seems like the best addition to me, personally, in my opinion.
  • Princess Fairytale Hall--Aurora, Cinderella, Tiana, Rapunzel, and more live in their homes to greet guests.
  • Dumbo the Flying Elephant-- The classic round and round ride gets an addition. Another classic round and round ride. Lines will be cut down with the two Dumbo rides!
  • Goofy as the Great Goofini-- The updated Barnstomer soars high above Storybook Circus.
The new Fantasyland looks pretty awesome. What's your take? Can it compete with The Wizarding World of Harry Potter? What about the ESPN Wide World of Sports' Atlanta Braves Training Camp?

Let's not forget the proud semi-park that sacrificed itself for the success of Disney and the expansion of Fantasyland.

R.I.P Mickey's Toontown Fair.

Movie Review--The Muppet Movie

I watched the Muppet Movie, created by Jim Henson, today. It was really good and humorous. Now the new movie is looking better and better! I hope Jason Segal does a good job. It was a good movie with a nice plot. I recommend it for everybody. I give it an A- and ***** stars out of 5. It makes my top 25 movies of all time!

Here is the trailer:

Gursh gurndee burndee burndee boo da flip flip flip flip flip!

As another foot note; check out Muppet Balloons on Flickr!

Best Part Of The Show---Day 29

It has to be the fact that wherever Lucy and Ricky went, Fred and Ethel came too.

Just Doing My Duty (Hehe I Said Duty)

Just doing my duty by passing the latest memes around.

The FUNNIEST Strip Of 2010

Many voted. This contest saw the likes of Beetle Bailey, Blondie, Wanda and Darryl, Doug and Sophie, Garfield, Grimm, Mooch and Earl, Pig and Rat, Red and Rover, and Jeremy square off against one another. Pearls, Zits and Garfield had upset strips within one another. Many upsets followed including Blondie over Dog Eat Doug. Great punchlines like; Please Don't Make Me Think, Jackie's Got Some People Friends!, An Airport, There's A New Girl In My History Class, And If There's Anyone Dumb Enough To Marry You, Let's Wait A Minute Before We Come Back and Ask For Passes, Winter: The Ninja of the Four Seasons, I Think I'm In Omaha, and I Can Believe It's Not Better have been voted on. A month of 2010 greatness has come down to this. The votes are tallied. Darryl, Pig, and Rover are all on the edge of their seats. An ArcaMax representative has joined me at the podium. The trophy is placed:

"The winner of the Search for 2010's Funniest Comic Strip is....."

"PEARLS BEFORE SWINE!"

"Jackie's Got Some People Friends!" here's the comic:

The comic battled Red and Rover, Baby Blues, and Mutts. Some of the funniest on ArcaMax today. Pig, Rat, Larry, Goat, Guard Duck, Stephan Pastis and Zeeba go to the podium to receive the award from Jeremy, last year's reigning champion.

Here is the Pearls celebration:

They're pretty happy aren't they?! Congratulations to the entire Pearls Before Swine team! That concludes the Power Blog's biggest tournament. See ya next year!

Sweetest Moment---Day 28

It has to be when Lucy buys back all of the furniture and her final glimpses of her apartment. When she was leaving the living room it seemed like there really was some tears from Lucy.

Another great sentence from Original Sentence:

“Yao Ming is ruining my 15% discount!”

Yes this was said by yours truly! I was trying to win a 15% discount on NBA.com but Yao Ming got in my way. Pretty good stuff.

Least Favorite Season---Day 26

Season Three did not have a lot of memorable or classic episodes. It lacked just a little bit pizzaz.

Mutts vs. Red and Rover

Red and Rover pulled an upset over the reigning champs, Zits! Unbelievable! Mutts was brought back to life in the Resurrection Round! Who will prevail? You decide.

Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay!Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay!Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay!

Favorite After Lucy Episode or Lost Lucy Episode---Day 25

Isn't it obvious? I never watched the shows after Lucy but here's the really good lost Christmas episode of I Love Lucy!

Blondie vs. Pearls Before Swine

Blondie. Pearls Before Swine. One the most storied comic strip in history. The other the funniest comic strip of '02, '03, '07, '09, and '10. This is up to you everybody!

vs.

I've Been Muppet-Ized

That's me as a Muppet! You can Muppet-Ize yourself at the FAO Schwarz' Whatnot Builder.

It says that it is $99 but you can just preview and print screen it.

Baby Blues vs. Garfield

Okay we're getting down to the wire now. The only strips that remain are Pearls Before Swine, Baby Blues, Red and Rover, Garfield, and Blondie. Vote for the matchup of Baby Blues and Garfield.

vs.

Favorite Apartment Room---Day 24

The best has got to be the living room. They did have three living rooms though. Ah well.

One of the Top 20 Funniest Moments of 2011 (I Can Tell What Will Eventually Be Funny)

Got this from Cal. Pretty funny. Good thing the guy was okay.

Favorite Reoccurring Line---Day 23

My favorite reoccurring line is:

"Lucy, you got some 'splainin to do!"

-Ricky Ricardo
Never found a video.

Red and Rover vs. Zits

Alright, the Zits strip pulled a major upset over some other Zits and Red and Rover was an obvious choice. But you get the honor of voting for which ever one is better!

vs.

Got You!

Hahahaha! You saw this picture and you thought Troy Polamalu had actually cut his hair! It's just a ponytail! Haha! By the way, go Steelers tonight!

Lobstah! Chowdah! Oranges.

My top three favorite states:
  • Florida
  • Massachusetts
  • Maine
have been featured in this Neat-O-Rama post about the most popular foods from each state.

Florida has oranges!

Maine has lobster!

And Massachusetts has clam chowder!

Yay! Yay!

Mutts vs. Pearls Before Swine

Both of these are exquisitely funny strips. I feel bad for the people who have to vote for them. Oh yeah, that's you! (Cheesy Theme Park Ride Pre-Show Humor.)

vs.

Least Favorite Episode---Day 22

Did not care for the 10th episode the first season and the entire series of I Love Lucy. Kind of a bad setup. If you want to watch it, be my guest, but you've been warned.

Jessie Is Creepily Alive

Not much to say but just cool, extraordinary, awesome, and creepily alive (Jessie especially.)

Garfield vs. Mother Goose and Grimm

To be honest, I did not think that either of these strips would be here today. But you voted for them so vote again!

vs.

Least Favorite Guest Star---Day 21

Cornell Wilde did not have such a great episode. He was unfunny and cruel and awkwardly naked in a bathtub. Lucy made it funny.

He was in the episode: "The Star Upstairs."

Florida Fires!

My family's two most popular vacation sites are Maine and Florida.
In Maine at the fire station there is a Smokey Bear sign. When we go on the Ferris Wheel we see the sign and make jokes about it. It says Fire Danger Is (High, Low, or Medium) Today. Not once has there been a fire.
Now in Florida, on January 3rd, Dudley Do Right's Rip Saw Falls caught on fire. The ride is in Islands of Adventure which is in Universal Orlando Resort. The fire with smoke caused major damage. It will be several weeks before it reopens. The fire started on the roof of the ride. Here is yet another eerie picture involving fire below:
Pretty creepy, huh? That's right you can see Me Ship the Olive boat, and parts of Jurassic Park and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Now yesterday, January 12th, the Enchanted Tiki Room at Magic Kingdom which is at Walt Disney World Resort also caught on fire. Just nine days after the fire at Universal! I disagree with the fact that Disney might've been taking a stab at Universal, but I might agree that they set the fire on purpose to try to 'get rid of' Iago and Zazu. The fire was not at the ride but the attic in the complex. Restaurants and attractions were evacuated but no injuries!

Now while I've been alive our vacation spot in Maine has had no fire that I've heard of. But Florida has had two in nine days! Maine's only had a flood!

Blondie vs. Dog Eat Doug

Again you voted for these! Now you have to chose between these two evenly matched strips. Which is funnier? Vote!

vs.

Favorite Guest Star---Day 20

My favorite guest star was Tennessee Ernie Ford who played Cousin Ernie. I like how he just appeared randomly. In fact, he appeared in the episodes:

  • Tennessee Ernie Visits
  • Tennessee Ernie Hangs On
  • Tennessee Bound
