This is certainly very interesting and very awesome news! Jack Kerouac's 1957 novel, On the Road, was considered innovative for its stream-of-consciousness style and beat genre, but the stream-of-consciousness letter from Kerouac's friend, Neil Cassady, that inspired the book and is also known as the "Joan Anderson letter" was discovered after sixty-five years. CEO of the auction house that possesses the letter, Joe Maddalena's colleague called it "the greatest literary discovery of the twenty-first century." Pretty cool news.
Very cool news. Auction house, hmm? Bet it sells for a lot.
