Of the creepiest 1970's TV characters I'd have to say that the Sleestak would be up there. They are green and seem to be a mix between a reptile and a bug. Their eyes never blink. They communicate by hissing. Their ancestors are the Altrusians. They are telepathic and can create ropes, nets, bows, and other tools. They have a population of 7,000 according to the Library of Skulls except they only had three costumes. They live in the Lost City and hate light. Creepy enough for you?

Sleestak
