Entertainment Weekly published a great article on March 23rd about "the last great era of network sitcom." It basically dubs the ten years from when The Office debuted to when Parks and Recreation ended as NBC's Silver Age and their last comedic stand, essentially, after the power block of Seinfeld, Friends, Frasier, and Will & Grace. this article explores that perfectly.
Sad how the network has lost its comedic way after being the home of so many classics.
