One word to describe it is Moneyball! I have faith that the moves that the Sox are making are safe and will pay off eventually, hopefully very soon. They just traded for Pirates closer, Joel Hanrahan. The Sox have also signed Shane Victorino, Mike Napoli, David Ross, Johnny Gomes, Stephen Drew, and Ryan Dempster to short-term deals. I think it's been going well so far and will give it a B+ because I wish they had gone after Brandon McCarthy, Brian Wilson and Cody Ross. We'll see how it pays off in 2013!
Seems like they are making good moves, so far! We'll see if it all pays off.
