Are You Seeing This?! ARE YOU SEEING THIS?!

This is strictly Perez Hilton: Thanks man.

"For all those Event fans out there that are just dying to know what is going on might not be out of luck, as it's being reported that the show might continue past its life on network television — and head to cable on SyFy to conclude as a miniseries!

According to the source:

"Helping things is the fact that Syfy and The Event producer, Universal Media Studios, are NBCUniversal corporate siblings. But migrating a broadcast show to cable is never easy, and I hear discussions are underway to see if it would be financially feasible for The Event to continue on Syfy. If that happens and if the mini does well, it could potentially launch another season of the alien drama."

This is definitely an interesting way to handle a canceled show that has left a lot of questions. We mean, the main deal with the show is based on a huge question, "What is the event?" So it's only fair that they look elsewhere to satisfy those who invested the time.

The least they could do is let us know what they had planned by just flat-out telling us, LOLz!

What would you think if The Event landed at SyFy?"

I JUST BLOPPED!

He Was Too Hot To Handle

And so Kobe Bryant lobbed it up to the 7'1" center while his afro fluttered. Down came the center towards the rim. He gently grabbed the ball and with such grace slammed it home. The look on his face said it all. Led by Shaq, Horry, Fish, and Kobe the Lakers won it all that year and a legend was born in big-man Shaquille O'Neal.

Now it is 2011. A full 19 years since this man walked the courts in Orlando. Now anyone worldwide can say Shaquille and you will know exactly who they're talking about.

Shaq or Superman or The Big Aristotle or Hobo Master or The Diesel or Shaq Fu or The Big Daddy or the Shaq Daddy or The Big Agave or The Big Cactus or the Big Shaqtus or The Big Galactus or Wilt Chamberneezy or The Big Baryshkinov or The Real Deal or Dr. Shaq or The Big Shamrock or The Big Leprachaun or Shaqovic or even The Big Conductor was such a fun player he even posed as a statue in his final NBA season in Boston. In his final season he played with the man whom he nicknamed "The Truth," Paul Pierce.

How good was Shaq? Well obviously he's a shoe-in for the Hall of Fame in Springfield but in his career span he played for the Magic, Lakers, Heat, Suns, Cavaliers, and the Celtics he has done great things. He was the 1994 FIBA World Championship MVP, Three Time NBA All-Star Game MVP (2000, 2004, 2009), NBA All Rookie First Team, Three Time All Defensive Second Team, Four Time All NBA Third Team, Two Time All NBA Second Team, Eight Time All NBA First Team, Two Time NBA Scoring Champion, 15 Time NBA All-Star, NBA Rookie of the Year (1993), NBA MVP (2000), Three Time NBA Finals MVP, Four Time NBA Champion (2000, 2001, 2002, 2006.)

Go on Sportscenter Shaq.

I hope the future bodes well for you.

Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Baruuuuuins!

Krejci. Horton. Lucic. Chara. Thomas. Marchand. Bergeron. Seguin. These names will appear a lot more now that the Bruins are in the Stanley Cup Finals! I am so happy. If the B's win then Boston will be the first city to have their basketball, hockey, baseball, and football team win the title in one decade. Just makes me love Boston THAT much more.

28th Day - Favorite Movie From Your Favorite Director

Another Muppet trailer! And we get to see Jason Segal running in slow motion! Yes!

27th Day - Movie You Wish You Saw In Theaters

From what I heard Airplane! was good in theaters. Then again, it IS slower than a speeding bullet and can hit tall buildings in a single bound. But the fog's getting thicker, and Leon's getting larger!

Jack Sparrow Is A Winner

I saw Pirates of the Carribean 4: On Stranger Tides. It wasn't that bad and despite the absence of Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly it was a good compliment to the series. I hear they are making two more and I hope they are good with at least a cameo from Bloom and Knightly. I'd like to talk about one scene in particular however. In the beginning Jack is tied to a chair as Vernon Dursley comes in and interrogates him. Jack was trying to get a cupcake of some sort. It falls on the ground. While escaping off of chandeliers and windows and guns he kicks the cupcake up onto the chandelier. While swinging out of the room he snatches the cupcake that he's wanted since the beginning. Therefore, Jack Sparrow is a winner.

26th Day - Movie You Love But Everyone Else Hates

NESN: Champions Again. The Story of the 2007 Boston Red Sox. Not sure ANYONE has even seen this besides me. Just writing about Pedroia and what-not makes me want to view it again.

25th Day - Most Hilarious Movie You've Ever Seen

Maizzze. Maizze. Comedic geniuses Kevin James, Adam Sandler, David Spade, and Chris Rock joined up for this masterpiece that should've won Best Picture. Or maybe Dodgeball. Or maybe Airplane. Or maybe Happy Gilmore. Or maybe Elf. Let's call it a five way tie.

IT LIVES!

I LOVE NETFLIX SO MUCH! TWO NIGHTS AGO THE EVENT ENDED IT'S FIRST, LAST, AND ONLY SEASON. NBC HAD CANCELLED IT MUCH TO MY DISAPPOINTMENT. BUT WILL SEAN WALKER (JASON RITTER) LIVE? NAMES SUCH AS DC COMICS AND NETFLIX ARE BEING TOSSED AROUND. THIS MAKES ME HAPPY IN NUMEROUS WAYS! ALL I CAN PICTURE IS THE CEO OF NETFLIX SAYING "DO YOU SEE MY HAT? NO? THAT'S CAUSE I JUST THREW IT IN THE RING!" DWIGHT SCHRUTE. YAY! SEE MY POST YESTERDAY FOR AN EVENT-FUL RECAP!

The Event Season (Or Series; See Tomorrow's Posts) Finale

A good end to a great season from The Event. It wasn't LOST, but it was still amazing. It wasn't a send-off like Michael Scott, but so much better than Persons Unknown. You must see it, but I'll just mention that Jason Ritter lived and it was epic how Blake, Simon, Sean, and Vicky just totally dismantled Sophia and her goons. It seemed like Leila was going to survive but who knows about the planet! It seemed like they just made a second Earth so what could really go wrong there? Maybe I'm just assuming but I don't think so.

24th Day - Best Movie Idea That Hasn't Been Done Yet

There's no poster for this, but Jon Favreau's The Magic Kingdom. He's DOING it, but it's not DONE yet. See what I did there?

21st Day - Your Favorite Action Movie

It was a good movie. I don't remember who lived or died however.

I'm Famous (Not Really But Still!)

There was a poll on Facebook from Sports Illustrated that said “Who Is The Nicest Player In Baseball?” It had the options of Curtis Granderson, Derek Jeter, and Jim Thome. However, it had the option to add names. I added Dustin Pedroia. Apparently it was a good addition because 81 more people voted for him getting him to 10% and 3rd place. That was high enough to get him into Sports Illustrated. I put him in there. I got my favorite athlete into a magazine. That makes me happy!

Muppet Postah

Why can't this come faster???? I won't tell you the guest stars because there's SO many. Yeee. Now if I could only get my hands on a trailer....

Change To Universal

Harry Potter opened and it was monumental for the theme park. Now they're adding a Despicable Me ride. I wouldn't mind this if it didn't replace the JIMMY NEUTRON RIDE! Are you kidding me? You're gonna pick these one-eyed freak shows over a robot dog? Come on people. They're giving it back to Disney. (Which isn't a bad thing.)

20th Day - Favorite Movie From Your Favorite Actor/Actress

Haven't seen a movie with Jason Ritter sadly. Move on to Tom Hanks. Oh, look, Toy Story 3 again!

Went To Boston Last Night

Saw the game. It was cold and wet. Luckily, Salty doubled home Crawford so the Red Sox won! They are now 3-0 when I visit one of their games. Also, the Fenway Franks are great.

19th Day - Favorite Movie Based on a Comic or Book

Never a doubt in my mind. Gotta go with the original Willy Wonka.

The Office: Sunday Afternoon On The Island

Pretty nice. Toby's alone. You recognize this, but you can't put your finger on it. Well, it's the painting that Cameron stared at in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

18th Day - Movie You Wish More People Saw

From what I heard not too many people saw this. It was funny though. Spade and Warburton are great.

Two May Miracles For Boston Now

*Note a comeback from 7-0 in the seventh was in October and therefore not mentioned as much except for this.

Four years ago on Mother's Day the Red Sox capped a 5-0 deficit in the ninth to BALTIMORE with a Julio Lugo infield single to walk-off with a Mother's Day Miracle. Now, four years and four days after it happened, we're doing it again. Boston was down 6-0 in the fifth when Jed Lowrie doubled home J.D Drew, 6-1. Later, Tek singled which scored Lowrie and advanced Crawford to second, 6-2. Then Gonzalez singled, scoring Crawford and putting Varitek in scoring position, 6-3. After, Youkilis doubled to left which brought home Tek and Gonzo, 6-5. After a Mark Reynolds home run in the 7th for Baltimore, Varitek singled again and that scored Lowrie, 7-6. Finally, in the 9th, Adrian Gonzalez doubled and Ellsbury and Pedroia scored to win it for the Red Sox 8-7.

I love Boston comebacks.

17th Day - A Movie That Disappointed You

Even when I was a kid and had an obsession with Star Wars this was so bad and so boring. Look up disappointment in the dictionary. You just may find the poster again.

Jim Henson Died 21 Years Ago Today

My dad shared this thing. This is the picture that came up. Depressing right? Saddest thing ever? Probably.False. It is not the saddest thing ever. The picture below is.

15th Day - Movie Character You Can Relate To

I'm bad at these so I took a quiz and it said Austin Powers. Not sure about that, but whatever.

Krasinski Is A Marionette

Isn't a marionette a puppet. I'm unsure about this. Marionette- a puppet manipulated from above by strings attached to its jointedlimbs. Thanks to dictionary.com! Now I know and I say he does a pretty good job!

If It Wasn't For Ron Swanson...

It'd be a shameful day for TV. But here his Mr. Serious dancing with a tiny hat. Watch it over and over again.

No.

The Event was cancelled. So was Better With You, Outsourced, Mr. Sunshine, Lie to Me, and Human Target. The fall began with these shows and countless others. Very few survived. Among the ones that did were Harry's Law and Body of Proof. This really upsets me. I wish I could swear. The shows that were cancelled are good, the ones that were renewed were bad. I'll miss Gupta, Casey, Roman, Tim Roth, Jackie Earle Haley, and Jason Ritter. It'd be cool if they made a show with all of these guys. I hope they end well. HUGE sigh.

13th Day - A Guilty Pleasure Movie

Saw this in Maine once. It's an alright movie.

11th Day - Movie That Changed Your Opinion

Not only did it change my mind about orchestras and inspiration and a new definition of scary, it changed the world's mind about dinosaurs and technology in movies. The visual effects were crazy for the time and scientists altered the way they though the extinct, prehistoric creatures stood.

Saw The Celtics-Heat Playoffs Game Last Night

There's three! Instead of rambling, I'll make a long story short, "too late!" See what I did there? Oh well. Wadsworth makes it perfect and then you don't know which ending you'll get. Clue.
