Two Remain But Only One Will Be Crowned Greatest Cartoon Character Ever

Only two remain. Garfield, Stewie, Homer, Pooh, Alvin, Popeye, Tigger, and Charlie Brown have all been eliminated because of these two. Bugs Bunny from Warner Brothers. Mickey Mouse from Disney.

Here are some Wiki stuff on 'em.

Bugs~American fictional character who appears in the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of animated films produced by Leon Schlesinger Productions, which became Warner Bros. Cartoons in 1945. In 2002, he was named by TV Guide as the greatest cartoon character of all time. Currently, he is the corporate mascot for Warner Brothers, especially its animated productions. Bugs starred in 163 shorts in the Golden Age of American animation, and made cameos in three others along with a few appearances in non-animated films.

Mickey~ is a cartoon character who has become an icon for The Walt Disney Company. Mickey Mouse was created in 1928 by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks and voiced by Walt Disney. The Walt Disney Company celebrates his birth as November 18, 1928 upon the release of Steamboat Willie, although Mickey had already appeared six months earlier in Plane Crazy (Steamboat Willie being the first Mickey Mouse Cartoon with sound). The anthropomorphic mouse has evolved from being simply a character in animated cartoons and comic strips to become one of the most recognizable symbols in the world. Mickey is currently the main character in the Disney Channel's Playhouse Disney series "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse." Mickey is the leader of The Mickey Mouse Club.

Just think Mickey wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for Oswald the Lucky Rabbit being stolen. And Bugs wouldn't be here if Mel had stayed not playing him. Anyway you have until the last day of June: June 30th, 2010 to vote for the champion. Can we upened TV Guide and pick Mickey? Or will TV Guide's word stay true for Bugs to win? Vote vote vote!

He Comes In Peace

I love this game. I played it when I was little and I believe I beat it I'm not sure but still. About 7 years later after the last time I played back in 2003 I think my dad was awesome enough to hook up the original Playstation and he found the game: Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear To The Rescue. I started playing it and I so remember it. The attic, the sheep, the basement, the race with RC, the coins for Hamm, the construction site. It's so awesome and fun and one of my summer goals is to yet again beat this game.

This Week's Sports By David

Toy Story 3 Review

I saw this movie yesterday not with high expectations but thinking I'd see a good movie to cap off a great trilogy in which I had grown up with Andy. I think this movie is arguably in the Top 3 for all of Disney Pixar's movie along with Toy Story and Finding Nemo. It was very good with heart and humor like Mr. Tortilla Head and the absence of some toys; (e.g, Wheezy, Etch, RC, even Little Bo Peep.) When Woody and Slinky Dog organized the very first meeting that we saw of these toys. Dozens of toys gathered around everything from a piggy bank to a dinosaur to binoculars to green army men and a potato head. They discussed different topics and moved on. In the last meeting we see the toys gather around for Slinky Dog doesn't have to help Woody when he asks "Slink gather everybody" Slink responds "Woody, this is everybody." The toys there are Buzz, Slink, Woody, Jessie, Bullzeye, the Three Pizza Planet Aliens, Two Green Army Men, Sarge, Hamm, Rex, Mr. Potato Head, and Mrs. Potato Head. Now there are only a dozen plus 3. Barbie soon joins them from Molly's room and they are sent to a daycare. They are greeted by a Lots'O Huggin' Bear who takes a turn for the worse by leaving toys to possibly burn in an incerator. Luckily, the alien's obsession with "The Claaaw" saves the toys and Mr. Potato Head replies "You saved our lives and we are eternally grateful." Very good movie! I laughed, I cried, and I remembered my childhood which came full circle when Andy donated his toys to Bonnie who lives around the block and played with them one last time. I cried when Slink said "This is Everybody. When Woody thought about Bo Peep and said simply "Bo" and when Andy began to describe the character's traits reminding us of all the movies. I began crying when he said "Jessie, the roughest, toughest cowgirl in the wild wild west." Good movie and Pixar has done it again.
P.S. I really thought Lotso was going to be a really awesome toy.
P.S.S Best line: Ken: "I am not a girl's toy!"
P.S.S.S I love Mr. Pricklepants

Good Reasoning

My aunt posted on Facebook that:

Two years ago the Celtics won their 17th championship on June 17th.

The date of Game 7 is June 17th

The area code for Boston is 617.

Good reasoning but the Celts still dropped Game 7 after a 13 point lead.

The Real Finals MVP

I'm not saying this just because he's my favorite player I'm saying it because he deserves it. Rondo deserves the Finals MVP award. He hustled more than anyone else, he made it a team effort more than anyone else and he played better than everyone else. Rondo in Game 5 made four outstanding plays that I posted earlier this week. In Game 7 he hustled for a rebound in the final minute shot up a three and gave the Celtics hope as it found the bottom of the bucket. Jerry West won MVP while the Lakers lost why can't Rondo? He definitley deserves MVP of the playoffs though. They should really make that an award.

Predictions For 2010-2011 Celtics Team

The past playoffs have taught me a thing or two. One is that you have to be loyal to your hometown team which is why the Celtics are once again my favorite basketball team. Magic get the number two seed. Another is that once again anything's possible. The four seeded Celtics made it all the way to the NBA Finals Game 7 where they lost by 4. So their season is over and the team may be different next year. Or will it? Here's my predictions for next year out in Boston.

Ray Allen~ He will resign with the Celtics for three years or more.

Tony Allen~ Will resign with the Celtics for one year.

Marquis Daniels~ Will not resign with the Celtics.

Glen Davis~ Remains with team because his contract is not yet up.

Michael Finley~ Will not resign with the Celtics.

Tony Gaffney~ Contract is not yet up.

Kevin Garnet~ Contract is not yet up.

Oliver Laffeyette~ Celtics will release him.

Kendrick Perkins~ Contract is not yet up.

Paul Pierce~ Will test the free agent market but will resign with the Celtics for 5+ years.

Nate Robinson~ Will not resign with the Celtics.

Rajon Rondo~ Contract is not yet up.

Brian Scalabrine~ Will resign with the Celtics but keep minor role.

Rasheed Wallace~ Contract is not yet up.

Shelden Williams~ Will resign with the Celtics for 1 year but will be traded mid-season.

That means that four players won't return I believe: Finley, Robinson, Daniels, and Lafayette.

That means we got to get four more players.

Here's who I think we'll sign:

  • Al Harrington
  • Matt Barnes
  • Rafer Alston
  • Raymond Felton

A Show From The 70's About the 50's In A Show In The 2000's Which In Season 5 Was In The 70's. Whatever

Let's Not Rejoyce

Please pause it at 1:00

How bad is this call by Jim Joyce? Armando Garralagga however you spell it was robbed of the third perfect game in a month, second in a week, fourth in a year! We almost had a perfect Armando, Dallas, and Roy with a no-hitter by Ubaldo. Bad call and they don't reverse it. Bad bad umpire. Armando shook it off and the ump apologized but still c'mon.

Viral For the Wrong Reasons

This parody cover made by Rob Kelly over at the Aquaman Shrine shows Aquaman's death at the hands of BP's oil spill. It's viral for all the wrong reasons. Don't get me wrong it's a good idea but the oil spill is bad. Who knows maybe Ariel is next. Anyway I just wanted to assist Rob Kelly to try to get it viral. Because it made it to the New York Daily News site.
