2013 Power Hall of Fame Inductees

It's that time of year again! It's time to induct the five six icons who will join the legends in the Power Hall of Fame. Right now the enshrined are Adam Richman, Tomie dePaola, Tim Tebow, Chandler Bing, Slinky Dog, Matt Lauer, Jason Ritter, Jim Halpert, Goofy, Dustin Pedroia, Jeffster, The Greendale Seven, Jason Mraz, Kevin James and Tom Hanks. Usually it's five, but there's a special inductee this year. Let's meet the new members!

Of course Jimmy Fallon's in it! He made quite the rise to the Top Five people out there and now his moment has come. His history includes Fever Pitch and Saturday Night Live, but right now he's on Late Night and it's one of the best shows on television. He's onto the Tonight Show next, but right now, he's in the Power Hall of Fame!

Roger Federer has long been a favorite athlete of mine and it was only brought up again when he won the past year's Wimbledon. One of the nicest guys in sports and, despite being foreign, YOU elected him the Sports President! It's only fitting that he takes his place among the blog's greats, as he's already the greatest tennis player of all time.

This is our special sixth inductee. Jim Halpert has already been enshrined, but now the rest of The Office will also be inducted. This includes Andy, Phyllis, Meredith, Darryl, Toby, Dwight, Pam, Michael, Creed, Oscar, Ryan, Erin, Kevin, Stanley, Kelly and Angela. They deserve to have a special honor this year, for sure!

Ben Stiller is probably one of, if not the number one, favorite actor of mine. He has been in three of my all-time Top Five favorite films, Dodgeball, Happy Gilmore and Tower Heist. So that doesn't hurt at all. Throw in the fact that he brings sophisticated comedy to the table and how he always looks dashing in November, then there's no better candidate for the spot!

Bill Simmons has been slowly on the rise. I was aware of his ESPN prowess and Grantland brainchild. Then, I saw the Four Days in October film and he was awesomely funny and a true Boston fan in that. Put that together with his incredible intelligence, vast sports knowledge and impressive journalism skills, then he's a perfect choice for the Power Hall!

Sorry Rondo, but Rob Gronkowski will take the final spot! That guy just keeps getting snubbed. Doesn't matter though because Gronk has taken New England by storm with spike after spike and touchdown after touchdown. He's already cemented himself in the record books and among Patriots lore, so why not become legendary on the blog?

What a great crew. I love the Power Hall! See you next year! Who will make the cut?
