After last year's less then stellar comedic performance at the movie theaters, featuring only two standouts in my mind, Tower Heist and Bridesmaids, this weekend looks promising, at least in the minds of the critics. Two comedies, 21 Jump Street and Jeff who Lives at Home, have both gotten positive reviews from critics along with 85% and 75% ratings, respectively from Rotten Tomatoes. Now, those aren't the best scores, but they're better than last year's average of 42% for comedies. Hopefully comedies are on the up!
Guess we will see! Hope they are funny.
