This is something I feel doesn't need to happen, really. Fortunately, a good casting choice has been made because Ed Helms is the best. Paramount is in the mood to make a reboot to the classic comedy, The Naked Gun. They've tapped the writers from Night at the Museum to script it and Ed Helms to star as Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin. This could either be completely terrible or surprisingly not-bad. I hope it's the latter, because I have a feeling it might be the former.
Not sure why they need to do it, but okay. Guess the Christmas Vacation reboot-sequel thing with him as a grown up Rusty is on the shelf?
