Gators Basketball Moves to the Postseason
With the SEC and NCAA Men's tournaments rapidly approaching, the Florida Gators have been rather quietly having a stellar season. First of all, they have not lost since December 2, over three months. They have gone 18-0 in the SEC, en route to winning the SEC division title. They have won 23 games in a row and earned the number one seed in the SEC Tournament. The Gators finished the regular season with an amazing record of 29-2. They have also set many school, SEC, and NCAA records. Plus, Florida is the number one collegiate basketball team in the country, according to the AP and Coach's polls, for the first time since 2007, their last championship season. Speaking of, I am going to enjoy the moment as much as possible because it is very tough to win the championship. The Gators are the best, most talented team in the country and I hope and bet they will win the title. However, with four (amazing) seniors leaving after the season, this might be a quick chance to win it. Not saying they won't be stellar later, but this year will be the be all, end all. Casey Prather, Scottie Wilbekin, Will Yeguette, and Patric Young are all leaving after this year and they are great players. Let's have them leave with the ultimate trophy.
