Dreams. Bigger Dreams. Dreams of the future, fantasy, liberty.
How do we build this dream you ask?
Well one man and his mouse did it.
Clearing the landscape.
Making the foundation.
Burnt Orange and Dark Green Stain-Glassed windows.
Layered on top of each other waiting.
Brick circle.
Not straw nor twigs.
Brick.
An opening no moat
wood door.
Brick by brick.
Getting higher.
Brick by brick going up a single post.
One shiny post.
This is done many more times until one giant one at the top.
Signifying that dreams really do come true.
Windows in place.
Charm in place.
The hub of the world.
Of Florida.
And thus Cinderella Castle is built.
Nice. Is your dad forcing you to try elegance? HAH!
ReplyDeletei've been to many a castle but nothing is quite like Disney, even when plastic!
ReplyDeleteFantastic! Now, how did I know you would go with Walt!
ReplyDeleteVery good Dave. Your favorite place, huh? :)
ReplyDeleteWow - Very nice, Dave! It is a pretty special place, eh?
ReplyDeletenicely done. so you had a great vacation?
ReplyDeleteDisney World...I've never been. I grew up in the LA area and Disneyland was our annual treat thanks to my dad. I've heard many stories about D World and the size and scope of Orlando's theme parks. My boys are grown now so, maybe with grandkids, some day.
ReplyDeleteOnly been once....a long time ago!
ReplyDeleteBrick by patient brick, much easier way to understand a process... -Jayne

ReplyDeleteHere's my take on the theme: El Rey(jr) visita los castillos!
A Disney castle, of course :) Great!
