The Simpsons May Be Coming To A Close
It's been 23 seasons. Over 500 episodes (by the end of this year.) It seemed to some that a show like this was invincible. It could never come to an end. But we've seen that this is not true. Two long-running soap operas, All My Children and One Life To Live, have ended and are ending in January respectively. Law and Order ended last year. No show is safe. This includes The Simpsons. FOX is refusing to have a 24th season if the voice actors don't cut their pay by 45%. The actors are willing to cut their pay by 30%. Shouldn't they have enough money? Can't we all just agree to have 25 happy seasons? Can't it end well? I am honestly worried for Matt Groening. He's probably groaning.

Maybe it has run long enough. If it is going to end in a bitter pay dispute, maybe it has reached the end.
