Alyson Hannigan proposed a spin-off of How I Met Your Mother to Entertainment Weekly and I sincerely hope it does not happen. She suggested it would center around Marshall and Lily, but their dynamic would be different out of New York and away from Barney, Robin and Ted. I hope it doesn't occur and it's not likely that it will, seeing as how Jason Segel almost didn't come back for the final season of How I Met Your Mother. He said he'd do the spin-off if he could be done by lunch everyday to work on other things. As that's not likely, neither is the spin-off. Hopefully.
