You have been warned. If you or someone reading over your shoulder has not read or has not finished the Harry Potter books (Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince, and Deathly Hallows) DO NOT READ THIS POST!

If you do not want to read and never plan on reading the books or have already read the book then go ahead and read the post.

*Note that you, my followers, have been warned. Any displeasure or complaints is at the fault of no one else but your own. Thank you.*

I went to Florida about a month ago and we went to Islands of Adventure at Universal. We went to the newly opened Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It was good but I had absolutely no idea what any of it meant. So I decided to read the books. I finished the Sorcerer's Stone in three days, the Chamber of Secrets in three days, the Prisoner of Azkaban in four days, the Goblet of Fire in nine days, the Order of the Phoenix in eight days, the Half-Blood Prince in four days, and the Deathly Hallows in three days. I read exactly, on the dot, 4100 pages in 34 days. That's about 120 and a half pages a day. Impressive, huh?
The first one was good. Dudley did not make a good first impression on me. Kind of eerie beginning what with owls and letters everywhere. Just who wrote the letter that showed where Harry's cupboard than room. Odd. The second one was slightly better. The connections that were made with Parseltongue and the diary and the Basilisk and Aragog and Hagrid going to Azkaban was quite connected indeed. The third one had a good twist in which Sirius Black was supposedly good but I thought he was bad and Lupin was helping him so I thought he was bad but Peter Pettigrew framed Sirius for Peter's murder and Lupin was helping him and and they were good. Scabbers was also quite the twist. Pettigrew was Scabbers!
I almost stopped reading when I couldn't get past the 234th page of the Goblet of Fire. It wasn't holding my intrest. The Quidditch World Cup was good but the tension between Lucius Malfoy and Mr. Weasley was unnecessary as was Winky. It was okay once they got to Hogwarts with the Tri-Wizard Tournament and Mad-Eye Moody and Harry saving Fleur's sister. You got the first glimpse of Ron and Hermoine's future love though when Ron was jealous of Krum. There was a very sad moment when Cedric's body came back to Hogwarts even though I didn't like Cedric's dad. The fifth one also dragged on in the beginning. Tonks and Kreacher were odd characters to add more than half-way through the series. Luna was a good addition however. Cho Chang could not have been more annoying and Dumbledore's Army could not have gone more wrong. The Department of Mysteries was a rather intriguing chapter. Ron being all giggly and the whooshing doors and the baby-headed Death Eater. The worst part of the book was *SPOILER* (remember I warned you) Sirius Black's death. Remember? Harry's godfather? It was too bad. Harry never really got to know Sirius well and yet another father figure was swiped from his life. The sixth one did not drag on in the beginning even with Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour's wedding preperations because Weasley's Wizard Wheezes (Fred and George's store) was open. The Firebolt and the Marauder's Map proved very useful in this book to secure a spot in the Quidditch final and to track Draco Malfoy, Vincent Crabbe, and Gregory Goyle. Turns out they were bringing Death Eaters into Hogwarts. Harry ends up kissing Ginny, Ron's sister. Harry and Dumbledore go to a lake where Tom Ridde, Voldemort, used to go and Harry provides Ron, Hermoine, and Ginny with a good luck potion. They return with Dumbledore weak because of a bewildering liquid and Inferi. Snape ends up killing Dumbledore (for good intentions (Dumbledore told him to.)) Harry breaks up with Ginny and tells Ron and Hermoine that he's not returning for his 7th, final, and N.E.W.T year at Hogwarts but instead to hunt Horcruxes as Dumbledore wanted him too. Ron and Hermoine insist on going with him and the book ends.

The seventh book was by far the best one. I have devoted a whole paragraph too it. Harry departs from 4 Privet Drive saying goodbye to Dudley who grew up and claimed that Harry was not a waste of space. Moody, Hagrid, Lupin, Tonks, Shacklebot, Fleur, Bill, Mr. Weasley, Bill, George, Mundungus, Ron, and Hermoine arrive. The last few are turned into Harry for a diversion. They are immediately infiltrated by Death Eaters. Stan Shunpike recognizes Harry. Hedwig and Mad-Eye Moody die in the infiltration. Bill and Fleur's wedding is cut short because Kingsley Shacklebot sent a Patronus saying that the Ministry had fallen. Harry, Ron, and Hermoine make a break for it and end up being attacked by Death Eaters. Voldemort's name had apparently triggered them there. The trio invade the Ministry of Magic releasing Muggle wizards because they were going to be sent to Azkaban since Voldemort did not want any 'Mudbloods' in the wizard world. Ron gets fed up with Hermoine and Harry mainly because he had to wear Slytherin's locket. He departs and Harry and Hermoine go to Godric's Hollow. They see Lily and James Potter's graves and the place where Harry first beat Voldemort. The two are forced to flee when they learn that Bathilda Bagshot's body is being controlled by a snake. Hermoine is visably upset at Ron's departure and Harry's wand had broken at Bagshot's. He stands guard at the exit of the tent and sees a doe Patronus (Snape's) lead him to an icy lake where Gryffindor's sword lays at the bottom. He breaks the ice and jumps in. He forgot to take off the locket though and he cannot swim to the top. Ron had come back at that moment and he saved Harry's life while also destroying the locket. Later, the trio is listening to Potterwatch (a radio station that tells the truth about what is going on with Harry and Voldemort. It is run by the Weasley twins, Lupin, Shacklebot, and Lee Jordan.) It says Tonks' father is dead and Dean Thomas, fellow Hogwarts student, is on the run with Griphook, a goblin. Harry says Voldemort's name by accident which as Ron points out is "Taboo!" The werewolf Fenir Greyback and other Death Eaters capture them and bring them to Malfoy Manor. Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy ask Draco to identify them but he is reluctant to do so and says he does not know who they are although he did know it was Harry Potter. Harry and Ron are sent to the Malfoy cellar but Bellatrix Lestrange wants Hermoine to stay with her. While Ron and Harry are in the dungeon they can hear Bellatrix torturing Hermoine. She uses the Cruciatus Curse which is one of the three Unforgiveable Curses. Ron screams Hermoine's name multiple times while Luna and Mr. Ollivander, the wand-maker, set them free having also been locked up. They set Dean and Griphook free also. Wormtail (Pettigrew) goes down to see what the noise was (Dobby Apparating Luna and Ollivander out) and he ends up strangling himself because Harry spared him four years previous. Dobby resuces Dean, Griphook, Ron, Harry, and Hermoine and but is killed in the process. Harry digs a grave for Dobby. They plan with Griphook to break into Gringotts, the wizard bank, to retrieve a Hufflepuff goblet. Griphook double-crosses them and they are forced to leave on a dragon. They return to Hogsmeade where, under the Invisibility Cloak, are almost captured by Death Eaters but Dumbledore's brother saves them. They go into a passageway that leads to the Room of Requirement and Neville leads them in. They see Seamus, Hannah, Colin Creevey, Ernie, and many other students waiting for them. Harry goes with Luna to see if they can find out about Ravenclaw's tiara. They run into McGonagall, Flitwick, Sprout, and Slughorn however who agree to the war between Voldemort and Harry with many other students. They evacuate underage wizards and witches and Slytherins (Pansy Parkinson tried to give Harry up to Voldemort. Ron and Hermoine went to the Chamber of Secrets to retrieve a Basilisk fang. Harry, Ron, and Hermoine are cornered by Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle in the Room of Requirement which is accidentally set on fire by Crabbe and the trio rescue Draco and Goyle and the Ravenclaw tiara but Crabbe dies in the fire. Hermoine destroys the tiara with the Basilisk fang. Hagrid is then covered in spiders and the trio escape under the Invisibility Cloak where they save Draco's life from a Death Eater. Ron punches and him and swore at him. They eventually find Fred and Percy (who made up with his family even though they threw mashed potatoes at him) and fight alongside him. Percy tells Augustus Rookwood, his boss, that he is resigning and Fred laughes at Percy but an explosion, likely triggered by Rookwood, kills Fred and Harry's world seems to collapse around him. He can't bear to watch and the trio go to the Whomping Willow and see Voldemort kill Snape. Harry retrieves the Peniseive memory from him and feels bad despite having hated Snape. He goes to the Great Hall where they are healing people and harboring dead people. Among the dead is Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks (who got married and had a son, Teddy). Harry pours the memory into the Penisive and jumps in. He sees Snape's affection for his mother Lily and that he is the last Horcrux and must be killed to kill Voldemort. *SPOILER* *SPOILER* *SPOILER* *SPOILER* *SPOILER* *SPOILER* *SPOILER* *SPOILER*
You've been warned and it is unlikely if you have not read the books that you have read to this point so if you are a little slow then stop reading now or forever be spoiled. Harry sees Neville carrying a dead Collin Creevey much to Harry's dismay but Harry continues into the forest filled with Dementors. He eventually opens the Snitch he caught in his first Quidditch match and it is the Resurrection Stone. He flips it three times and ghosts of Sirius, Lupin, and James and Lily Potter who tell him to be brave. He comes face to face with Voldemort and sees Hagrid tied to a tree outside. Voldemort uses the killing curse, Avada Kedavra, and everything goes dark for Harry who sees Albus Dumbledore who at long last tells Harry everything straightforward. He also says that because Harry accepted his death that he is not yet dead and can choose to return. He returns and Voldemort asks Narcissa Malfoy to check if he is dead. She whispers to Harry who she has seen is alive if Draco is alive or not. He says yes and she says that he is dead. Voldemort forces Hagrid to carry Harry back. He brings him there and when Ron, Hermoine, and Ginny see the sight they scream and Neville confornts Voldemort. Voldemort places the Sorting Hat on Neville and sets it on fire. Chaos ensues, Neville is saved, and Harry escapes under the Invisibility Cloak. Bellatrix aims to kill Ginny but misses by inches and Mrs. Weasley snaps and kills Bellatrix with many swears in the process. Voldemort goes to kill Mrs. Weasley but Harry reveals himself and he explains everything to Voldemort and gives him a chance to live. Voldemort casts the killing curse on Harry but Harry, who possess the Elder Wand (unbeatable wand) casts the disarming curse on Voldemort. The Elder Wand defeats Voldemort and kills him. Death Eaters flee and everyone crowds around Harry. Luna saves him and gives him peace and quiet. The epilogue takes place 19 years later and it shows Harry and Ginny have married and had three children, Albus Severus, James Sirius, and Lily Luna. They meet Ron and Hermoine with two kids of their own Hugo and Rose. They see Draco with his kid Scorpious. Hermoine wants the kids to give Neville, the new Herbology teacher, love from them. Albus says he is really worried that he will be in Slytherin. Harry responds saying his name so only Albus and Ginny can hear him "Albus Severus." He says that he is named after two Hogwarts headmasters and one was a Slytherin and perhaps the bravest man he ever met. He says it does not matter to him and Ginny but if it matters to him, the Sorting Hat takes your preference into consideration as it had done with Harry. Albus departs and Harry walks alongside the Hogwarts Express. Ginny says he'll be all right and Harry nods and touches his scar. The series ends with the words "It had not pained him for nineteen years. All was well."
