SportsCenter has entered a new phase. A phase where SportsCenter is no longer just anchored by ESPN alums such as John Anderson, Neil Everett, Stan Verrett, and Lindsay Czarniak. Now, guest anchors are stopping by in an influx. Ken Jeong was first. Then, Jimmie Johnson co-hosted after his sixth Sprint Cup title. Ron Burgundy was scheduled to host, but when a serious matter became a big headline, he was cancelled. Now, Barack Obama has apparently said that he too would like to host an episode of SportsCenter. It's become a star-studded affair.
