Just as I was thinking about no longer reading Dog Eat Doug, it comes out with a strip like this one. Then bang. Today it has another good one. Check it out on ArcaMax. You may be seeing them again come January 2012.
Plus, it seemed like Blondie and Red and Rover were the only homages to the 50's strips when it was classic. Now there's this strip from Rubes where they really enforce the bubble talking. Maybe I'm just crazy, but I love comic strips once again. Feels like old times.
