Neat-O-Rama Did Their Homework

Neatorama recently posted a Splash Mountain did you know post? I can't do it nearly as well as they did, but here goes:

What Neat-O-Rama found out:

• The original name was Zip-A-Dee River
• The Imagineers had to use animatronics from another ride to fit the budget.
• The movie it's based on, Song of the South, has never been released on DVD or VHS due to racism.
• There is no Splash Mountain in Disneyland Paris
• Many celebrities provide the voices of the characters such as Woody Allen, Humphrey Bogart, Keanu Reeves, and James Avery
