Argument 29: What Was Boston's Greatest Might-Have-Been Powerhouse?

Book Answer: Boston Braves

This is, essentially, the only option. It's not too shabby either. Boston used to be occupied by two baseball teams. The Red Sox and the Braves. We all know the history of the Red Sox, but the Braves were pretty successful. They won a World Series in their Boston days, but knew that the city could only handle on baseball team. So they left for Atlanta in 1953. Since then, they've made the postseason 26 times and won the World Series twice. Same goes for the Sox. Another aspect is that Boston's list of famed athletes would have also included Greg Maddux, Chipper Jones, and Hank Aaron. Also, this season would have been a little bit more bearable with the disappointing Red Sox and playoff Braves. Although, they did lose their game.
