I agree. In the past we saw that it worked with a few players, but some turned out be utter disasters. For a recent example, take a look at Daniel Bard. Will we ever even see him again? Who knows what would have happened to Papelbon if he had gone through with it in 2007. It's just not wise for a player who is used to and has adapted to the bullpen to make the switch. Everyone has their role. You don't see catchers trying shortstop.
Everyone should have a role and know it, too!
