Captain Jack Sparrow. That's better. He added a surprising amount of comic relief to the surprisingly dark and dramatic Pirates of the Caribbean films. Nonetheless, my friend put it best when he saw the muffin heist opener to the fourth Pirates film. "He's a winner."
He definitely made the movies into something so much more than they would have been.
