Marvel's Big Announcement

When Marvel told everyone they were going to hold a huge announcement ceremony-type thing on a Tuesday, speculation went wild. Many thought the actor behind Doctor Strange would be revealed or new footage from Avengers: Age of Ultron would be shown or it would be announced that Spider-Man would join The Avengers. What we got was something hugely amazing that will resonate in the history of cinema forever. Marvel announced the entirety of their third phase in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Here's a quick recap:

First of all, a Black Panther movie was announced! We'll get that out of the way since they actually cast him with (my ideal choice) Chadwick Boseman! He will also be making an appearance in Captain America 3.

Speaking of which, Kevin Feige announced the subtitle of Cap 3 as "Serpent Society" but later changed it to "Civil War" at which point Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans walked out! Big doings.

We already know about Doctor Strange, but a title card was released! Then, one for the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy was revealed, as well, and the movie was bumped up to May 5, 2017. Then, Thor 3 received the title, Thor: Ragnarok. Will Thor be going to hell?

Then, of course, Black Panther was announced, but they skipped one date. That was when a Captain Marvel movie was revealed to be happening! In succession will be Marvel's first black superhero-led film and first woman superhero-led film. Big doings! Additionally, after Captain Marvel, another team-up movie was shown the title card. The Inhumans (counterpoint for the X-Men?)! That was pretty neat, but the neatest announcement came next.

The movie skipped before was revealed to be Avengers: Infinity War Part One! WHAT?! Then, of course, there's Avengers: Infinity War PART TWO! Ahhhh!! Everyone freaked out.

We are in for an exciting time. Get ready for ultimate crossovers and ultimate films. It. Will. Be. Groundbreakingly. Astounding. Cinematic. Achievement.
