For the first time since 2012, I have won the championship in my fantasy baseball league (and three other trophies as well)! The Scranton Paper Salesmen sure did fight hard as they boasted a 17-4 record in the regular season and were the second overall seeded team in the playoffs where they steamrolled opponents en route to winning the championship game against the eight-seed, 692-427. I was down by sixty-seven entering Saturday, but then I had an onslaught of amazing pitching, including a no-hitter from Jordan Zimmermann on the last day of the season! What a great year it was for fantasy baseball. I want to thank my championship roster:
Carlos Ruiz, Ryan Howard, Neil Walker, David Wright, J.J. Hardy, Howie Kendrick, Adrian Gonzalez, Buster Posey, Nick Markakis, Emilio Bonifacio, Charlie Blackmon, Yangervis Solarte, Lucas Duda, Steve Pearce, Adam Dunn, Dustin Pedroia, Allen Craig, Jordan Zimmermann, David Price, Jon Lester, Lance Lynn, Stephen Strasburg, Jeremy Guthrie, Shelby Miller, Wei-Yin Chen, Jason Hammel, Tyson Ross, Alfredo Simon, Wade Miley, Jason Vargas, and Wiley Peralta.
Also a thank you to all players who were a Paper Salesman, but eventually got cut along the way:
Mark Trumbo, Mat Latos, Matt Moore, Pablo Sandoval, Xander Bogaerts, Matt Garza, Nick Swisher, Josh Reddick, Nate Schierholtz, Derek Jeter, Jeremy Hellickson, Jon Jay, Chris Sale, Shane Victorino, Paul Konerko, Seth Smith, David Murphy, and Brandon Crawford.
They were all just wonderful! See you next year, fantasy baseball!
That is awesome and impressive! Congrats!
