Apparently, an episode of Friends is nineteen minutes of jokes and two minutes of plot development. Just take this video called, Friends: No Jokes, All Plot for example. It's a bit jumpy, of course, but interesting to see what an episode of Friends is like with no humor. Although, it is kind of hard to follow, but it shows you the commitment to funny.
You can still kind of "feel" the jokes or humor. Or maybe that's just cause I have seen it and know what the humor and jokes were in the episode. Interesting idea, though.
