On September 1, Dustin Pedroia returned, only for one day, mind you, but he returned to wearing high, red socks. It was the first time since he's worn them like that since June of 2007. He wore them high in April 2007 when he hit .170, but decided to keep them. He got rid of them in July, but then they made a return. He claimed they made him look taller. I disagreed, and apparently, so did his wife, Kelli Pedroia. They did not return. Napoli still rocks 'em, though!
I think it doesn't matter, as long as they have fun and play well!
