Disney.com has pointed out one factor that is present in ever Disney film. A checkmate. This is where there is a significant change in momentum towards the projected outcome of the story. Basically, it's the pivotal point. It's the move that saves the protagonist and essentially defeats the antagonist. For example,

When tempted with honey, Pooh instead chooses to return Eeyore's tail to him. He defeats the constant rain cloud over Eeyore. It's not the strongest example, but it's my favorite.
