Argument 86: What Was The Lowest Moment In Red Sox History?

Book Answer: Game 6 of the 1986 World Series

Only four players showing up to Johnny Pesky's funeral was an incredibly low moment, but it's hard to get much lower than being one strike away from winning a World Series title. It would've been their first in 68 years. But no, the ball had to go through Buckner's legs. Stupid curse. They were one strike away, but a sudden chain of events led to Mookie Wilson burying the Sox. Extreme depression. Extreme low.
