SNL Firings
These are good moves. You always hate to see members of Saturday Night Live go, but this had to be done. Featured players Noel Wells, Brooks Wheelan, and John Milhiser have all been let go from the show. Out of all these, Brooks was arguably the funniest, but even then he didn't have much to do. In most of the sketches Brooks just played himself. As for Noel and John, I rarely saw them at all. When I did see John, though, he wasn't very funny. Nasim Pedrad, on the other hand, is leaving the show FOX's Mulaney. I think with these four leaving the show and no more being added, SNL can start to come to the end of their rebuilding phase. Now, obviously, Kenan is leading the show, but we can also focus on the strengths of more than just Taran and Kate McKinnon. We'll have Cecily and Colin at the Weekend Update desk, as well. Last year, the cast was just very cluttered with seven featured players. Now, it's much calmer. But also good to see Beck and Kyle stay on as they were good. Farewell, our fallen SNL members.
