Spider-Man Is Coming Back to Marvel!

He's coming home. After Amy Pascal stepped down as CEO of Sony, a new deal for Marvel to re-acquire rights to Spider-Man was quickly put into place. And now? It's official! Spider-Man will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He will appear in his own stand-alone movie that will be distributed by Sony and consulted on by Marvel and Kevin Feige for July 28, 2017. Additionally, Spider-Man will appear in a Marvel movie before that day (presumably Captain America: Civil War) and then he will show up in Avengers: Infinity War. This is glorious news! There's no word yet if the new Spider-Man will be Peter Parker or Miles Morales (I think Morales would be better). Obviously, Donald Glover is the way to go for Miles, but if they go with Peter, I suggest Logan Lerman. But who cares? Spider-Man is back with Marvel!

  1. Big doings! I think, after six Peter Parker films already, whether they are Marvel, Disney or Sony movies or not, this time Spidey could be Miles Morales. Interesting to see how he plays with the Avengers.
