I have to say, though they're obviously imperfect, I am very satisfied with this year's nominations for the Emmy Awards. There are so many things to love with what was nominated! (Will Forte! Tina Fey! SNL!) It's a good progression that they're (every year) coming closer to getting it just right. And this might just be me, but it's nice to see that Jim Parsons was not nominated. No offense to him, but there are those more deserving out there. I thought I'd just take this time to make my picks for the event on September 20th, which will be hosted by Andy Samberg. My picks will be in bold.

Seem like solid choices. I really hope the SNL 40th Special gets something, cause it certainly deserves it!
