Steve Martin's Lifetime Achievement Award

From the American Film Institute and presented by Mel Brooks, Steve Martin was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in comedy back in June. Not only is he unquestionably deserving of the honor, but he was doubly deserving of the ceremony surrounding it. One moment in particular was transcribed by Vulture due to its hilarity and well-suitedness. Tina Fey's speech, which managed to stand out amongst a slew of iconic comedians including Carl Reiner, Martin Short, Sarah Silverman, Steve Carell, Dan Aykroyd, and Amy Poehler.
