The Golden State Warriors have never really been clear on their location. After all, Golden State is California's nickname. There's no city named Golden State. But as facts would have it, they have been in Oakland since 1966. Changes are coming though. At the moment, the Warriors play in the oldest arena in the NBA. An announcement from earlier this week says that they plan to move to San Francisco during the 2017-2018 season. I've never minded the Warriors. Maybe they keep their Golden State name. San Fran is in California just as well as Oakland is.
I never heard of them before.
