Another Legend Retires

In the wake of the NFL Lockout coming to a close, a football defensive legend retired. Kansas City Chief's outside linebacker #50 Mike Vrabel is callin' it quits. Vrabel was the 91st overall pick in the 1997 draft out of Ohio State. He was picked by the Steelers and played in Pittsburgh for four years until going to New England. There, Vrabel played eight seasons with the Patriots before being traded to the Chiefs in the final two years of his career. Vrabel was a 3-time Super Bowl Champion, 1 time Pro Bowler and All-Pro and was on the Sports Illustrated 2000-2009 All Decade Team. In the fourth quarter of Super Bowl XXXVIII, Mike Vrabel went on offense as a tight end. Tom Brady threw a two-yard pass to him for the touchdown. It made Vrabel the first defensive player to score a touchdown on offense in the Super Bowl. Mike Vrabel was my favorite player for a while, but he was traded and he kind of faded away. I'll always have respect for him. Nice job Mike Vrabel.

P.S. Enjoy your time as a coach at Ohio State! Don't get involved in any sanctions.
