The Simpsons have been making me a little skeptical that they just might not make it to a 25th season. But the plans they announced at Comic-Con piques my intrest. Hopefully they can make it to 25 seasons with these interesting stories. Here's Entertainment Weekly's list:
- The 500th Episode will air February 19th and involve the risk of the Simpsons family getting kicked out of Springfield.
- Theodore Roosevelt Kiefer Sutherland and Jane Lynch will guest star. Matt Groening found old recordings of Roosevelt and it will actually be the President's voice.
- There will be more Banksy gags this year.
- Sandy Koufax will be featured on The Simpsons.
- There will be another DVD release of The Simpsons Movie and it will include the musical number about Alaska that was cut from the movie.
- The "Nedna" voting will continue online.
- Lisa is seeking romance and will keep her options open. Which includes Milhouse.
- There will be an episode telling the story of Moe's bar rag.
- There will be an episode of The Simpsons where they show their Christmas 30 years into the future. There will also be an iPhone app called Angry Burns.
- Bart may turn 11.
Cool things. The Moe's bar rag thing is a bit weird, though.
