A Nintendo Theme Park?

This is pretty big news. There have been rumors recently that Disney is in the market to purchase the Floridian theme park rights to Marvel characters back from Universal and they have also purchased a new chunk of land near Hollywood Studios, which itself has closed about half of the attractions in the park, most for good. To perpetuate these rumors, Universal Studios has announced a partnership with Nintendo to bring the video game properties (such as Link, Sonic, and Mario) to the theme parks. This could be the replacement for Marvel Superhero Island, but there's no way to know for sure. All I know is that Disney could handle Marvel better and Universal could benefit from having an amazing Mario Kart ride or something of the like. More details are to follow on both accounts.

  1. Sounds like changes are imminent, no matter what. Hopefully all for the better! I'd like a Mario Kart ride or something!
