The Size of the Universe

The Universe made possible by Number Sleuth

You start at the hydrogen atom's proton nucleus. It is 0.00000000000000017 meters in diameter. Zoom out. The measles virus is 0.000000022 meters in diameter. Zoom out. Grain of salt is 0.00005 meters in diameter. Zoom out again. The Monarch butterfly is 0.1 meters in length. Keep zooming out. The average human male. 1.83 meters tall. Zoom out further. Blue whale. 30 meters long. Keep zooming. Eiffel Tower is 324 meters tall. Zoom out further. Washington DC is 16,000 meters long on each side. Zoom out once more. Australia is 3,999,000 meters in perimeter. Zoom out further. Earth is 12,800,000 meters in diameter. Zoom out even further. All the way until you reach the largest known thing in the entire universe. This is the observable universe. 880,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 meters in diameter. This is the wondrous world we live in. We are so minuscule. The size and magnitude is unimaginable. What a wondrous universe. Infinite possibilities. Never-ending discoveries. It's incredible.
