This weekend was a good one for both the Florida Gators and the New England Patriots.
The Gators rolled over Kentucky 24-7, the seven points from Kentucky coming on a fake field goal. Needless to say, the Gators defense was absolutely lights-out. Plus, running back Matt Jones had an excellent game rushing for over 100 yards and a touchdown! Tyler Murphy dazzled again, leading the Gators to victory.
The Patriots took the stage under bright lights in the Georgia Dome on NBC's Sunday Night Football. Tom Brady hooked up with yet another unknown receiver before eventually finding Thompkins for the third time this season. LeGarratte Blount also had a beastly touchdown run. The Falcons mounted a comeback, but Aqib Talib quickly put a stop to it. Unfortunately, the 30-23 victory came with a consequence. Vince Wilfork tore his Achilles tendon and is likely out for the rest of the season. I won't fret too much, though. Vince is awesome, but the defense is pretty solid anyway.
Glad you had two victories to celebrate!
