100 Favorite Movies: 63

This is another movie that some widely consider to be the best superhero movie ever made. It certainly was a good one. Doctor Octopus versus Spider-Man...I mean, it writes itself! Plus, this is much better than the second Spider-Man movie that came ten years later, The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Because, let's be honest, Tobey Maguire is a vastly superior Peter Parker than Andrew Garfield. Sorry, but it's true.

Superhero drama directed by Sam Raimi and written by Alvin Sargent in 2004.

Starring: Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, Alfred Molina, Rosemary Harris, and J.K. Simmons.
