A lot of people say The Simpsons Movie was just a long episode, but really...what else could it have been? It was still entertaining. It helps that it came along at the right time of my life, too. Fortunately, it's one of the better productions of the late-era Simpsons, but it's so astounding when you think about it. A short sketch from The Tracy Ullman Show became this huge cultural phenomenon and money-raking franchise. Impressive, indeed.
