Wicked Cyclone Is Coming
Earlier this year, Six Flags New England announced that they were going to close the classic Cyclone wooden roller coaster in July. As expected, that went ahead as planned. But recently, Six Flags announced what will be replacing it (and it contains a nice homage). Wicked Cyclone. The concept video art is above, but, yes, it's going to be a steel coaster. Cyclone is not going to be demolished, but instead, it's going to be reformed as steel. It will add a ten-story drop, a 200 degree stall, and two Zero-G rolls. Additionally, the top speed it will reach will be fifty-five miles per hour. Glad it's just being reworked!

Much better than just replacing it with some generic ride. Kudos to Six Flags!
