Josh Beckett Retired
The former Boston Red Sox ace and 2003 and 2007 World Series champion, Josh Beckett, has announced his retirement from the Major League Baseball. He said he does not see himself recovering from rehab and returning to form to play so after the Los Angeles Dodgers were eliminated from the playoffs, his retirement came to a head. He actually threw a no-hitter back on May 25 of this year to add to a lengthy list of accomplishments that includes 2003 World Series MVP and 2007 ALCS MVP. Farewell, Josh Beckett. I'll treat you civilly despite all of that fried food and beer back in 2012.

What is the old poem? When he was good he was very, very good. But when he was bad he was horrid. Hope he enjoys his retirement.
