James Franco Made a Documentary About SNL

James Franco's long-gestating documentary about Saturday Night Live has finally seen the light of day thanks to Hulu. He filmed the documentary all the way back in 2008 when John Malkovich hosted on the week of December 6. It was a project for New York University and he later debuted at the TriBeca Film Festival in 2010. Until now, the documentary has not been released publicly. Hulu announced that it was released on their streaming service on September 26! Hooray for Franco!
