The Gators had a strong showing in their rebound game against Mizzou. After the depressing loss to Georgia, Florida bounced back and finished the SEC season with their best record in SEC play since the Tebow days. They finish 7-1 and clinched at least a tie for the SEC East lead! Georgia defeated Ole Miss so we need them to lose next week against Auburn. It can happen. The Gators defeated the Tigers 14-7. Hines had a 36-yard rushing touchdown and Driskel threw to Gillislee for a touchdown. The defense was spectacular. Nice win!
The Patriots were on a BYE week, this weekend. Sundays are better with the Patriots, but there's some news. Fellow AFC East teams, Bills and Jets, were also on BYE weeks, but the Dolphins were not. They were in second place in the division and looked to make a run at the Patriots. However, today they fell to the Colts 23-20. The Patriots are now in the division driving seat and they didn't even have to play!
