Saving Mr. Banks Poster

Just a short while after the release of the Saving Mr. Banks trailer, the poster was also released. To me, this poster works on many levels. Yes, the story is about how Walt Disney tried to acquire the rights to Mary Poppins from PL Travers, all three of which are pictured here. It's also about how Walt found the true meaning behind the Mary Poppins story, which is in the title. The tagline is cliche, but my favorite part of the poster is that the shadows they cast are also their biggest impact on the world. Walt Disney made Mickey Mouse, but he is Mickey Mouse, their names are synonymous. The same goes for Travers and Poppins, making for the perfect shadows.
