In a Japanese baseball league, the pitcher was issuing the batter an intentional walk so that way they could try to work a double play. The hitter wanted to bunt so he could plate the tying run. What occurred was, despite the wide pitch out, the batter kept his batting stance and dove to try to bunt anyway! I had to laugh at this because I just don't understand the hitter's point of view. Even if he had made contact, he was lying on the ground! Too funny.
Definitely not a well-thought-out moment for that dude.
