My Favorite Days of 2012

I couldn't possibly narrow it down to just 12, so here's a wide array, in chronological order, of course!

January 1: The very first day of 2012. We visited the Corrigan's, plus the Gators won the Gator Bowl!

January 8: The day that Tim Tebow silenced the haters for a little bit as he defeated the Steelers in overtime.

January 22: The day that the Patriots won the AFC Championship after Billy Cundiff botched a kick!

January 30: It was a bitter sweet day as I viewed the series finale of Chuck.

February 14: Valentine's Day! I spent it at the local senior center helping out them old folks.

February 23: This fateful day was the same one where the Book Professionals was created.

February 29: Leap Day is a day for miracles! I was cleared to walk again AND Adam Richman wrote to me on Twitter!

March 15: I may have had strep throat, but it was the day I learned that I would have a niece come fall!

March 23: The day I celebrated my best friend's birthday at his own house after school.

April 14: The day that we left on our Floridian vacation. The day was filled with tweets and Cracker Barrel.

April 16: DisneyQuest day! It was our first time trying the place out and it was pretty neat.

April 17: EPCOT day! The second time was the charm for this park, highlighted by the Mexican restaurant.

April 18: Universal day! Half the day was spent at the park and the other half at my cousin's home.

April 19: Magic Kingdom day! Transit Authority, Splash Mountain, fireworks, and Dole Whips. Nuff said.

April 24: Nothing more can be said of this day other than. Pluto chases kid with Benny Hill music.

April 28: The day I saw Think Like a Man, comforted by the fact that I'd be in Fall River the next day.

May 5: Not being conceited, but my birthday was awesome. Saw the Avengers at midnight and Wazim was there. Followed by Elm Centre Cafe and MexiCali Grill!

May 28: The day in which I left for Washington DC. It was quite the fun bus ride.

May 31: The Thursday in DC. I may have been sick out of my mind and I don't remember the day, but it was fun, I believe.

June 5: The eighth grade Boston field trip. Fannueil Hall was quite mysterious...

June 8: The grad dance highlighted by blue pants, blue bowtie, pink shoes, and an orange vest.

June 12: The last day of school always has a spot! A ceremony with a speech followed by a round of golf.

June 23: The day of Wiff-ALS where I played wiffleball as a part of a successful world record attempt.

June 26: The day where I went to Fenway Park to watch the Sox down the Jays, 5-1!

July 11: Always much love each and every year for the coveted ESPY award show.

July 18: The Tuesday in Maine. Goldenrod, the beach, and more! Too crazy to have each Maine day.

July 31: The day I went to my friend's house, walked to Wal-Mart, and kayaked across the lake.

August 5: A nice trip to Blackstone Valley, topped off by rain and handball with Brenden.

August 10: The eventful day in which I went to Canobie Lake park with a chum. It rained, but was fun rain.

August 14: The eventful day in which I went to Six Flags with awesome people. A jolly time!

September 1: Wake up. Run a 5K. Come in 90th out of about 350. Then have a fun family cookout!

September 9: Bittersweet day. Had to retire the pink hyper dunks, but watched the Pats win the opener!

October 19: The day that my niece, Sophie, was born! I was sleeping while it happened, but it was good.

October 20: The day that I held Sophie. It was an awesome day topped by a Gators chomping!

November 6: Election Day. Romney was defeated finally. Obama prevailed. Evil never wins.

November 22: A very delicious Thanksgiving. For dessert? The Patriots crush the Jets via Buttfumble.

November 26: The day in which Weekend in Thailand was filmed. It was cold, but fun.

December 19: The day I portrayed Johnny Appleseed in history class. Got a 95. Yessir!

December 24: Christmas Eve is always one of my favorites. This year's didn't disappoint.

December 25: Of course! Gotta finish it with Christmas, of course. Traditions were kept with lots of fun!

A great year 2012 was! Here's to 2013!

Top 12 TV Episodes of 2012

12. No Pressure. How I Met Your Mother. Back in February, Ted made another move on Robin and we learned that Marshall and Lily had a bet about Ted and Robin's future. Marshall bet that they'd be together. Ted claimed they'd never get together and Lily wanted the money. Marshall replied with "not yet." I get the feeling that Ted might just get her.

11. Pilot. Go On. After a great day of Olympic festivities, I remained on ESPN to check out Matthew Perry's new comedy, Go On. I liked what I saw and immediately knew that this show would most definitely be a good one.

10. Full Bars. Bob's Burgers. The Halloween episode of Bob's Burgers was so very amazing. So hilarious and I was actually quite confused to the whole thing, but quality as usual.

9. Penguin Hotel. Hotel Impossible. This was the first episode of this show that I saw and I was immediately hooked. A nice hotel setting too.

8. Hurricane Sandy. Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Jimmy decided that the show must go on, despite having no audience due to a hurricane.

7. Finale. Best Sandwich in America. The episode where Adam Richman finally chose what his favorite sandwich was! I loved the format!

6. British Person or Scientologist? Billy on the Street. This concluded with the greatest For A Dollar game ever. Also, the first episode I saw of this.

5. Dwight Christmas. The Office. Cheer or fear? The Belsnickel is here. How will he judge your year? The last Christmas episode of The Office was memorable as we finally saw that Dwight is really going to miss Jim.

4. Introduction to Finality. Community. Dan Harmon's last episode on Community and he prepared it for a series finale which was made it so good. Everyone realized almost everything and that ending montage is still perfect to this day.

3. Digital Estate Planning. Community. Back to back Community! The video game episode of Community is one to be remembered as their unique aspect. He was suffering! Yeah, from ax wounds!

2. I Ka Wa Mamua. Hawaii Five-O. It means in the past. This episode was so amazing. As Danno is face to face with a bomb, he recounts a story from his New Jersey times to Steve McGarrett. He tells of how his partner was shot and he was beaten at a warehouse bust. Carrying with him, a sonogram of Grace, his daughter who was named after his partner. He breaks free and manages to kill the people holding him hostage, but it's too late for his partner. He runs outside to stop an ambulance, but it rushes past him along with many other emergency vehicles. He looks up and sees one of the buildings of the World Trade Center burning. It was 9/11.

1. Chuck vs. The Goodbye. Chuck. The finale of Chuck was so perfect in every single thing that it did. Casey hugging Chuck? That last scene on the beach? Jeffster's final performance? Greatness. Absolute greatness.

Top 12 Movies of 2012

12. American Reunion. I only saw a little bit, but give me a break. It's hard to see 12 movies in a year. So, technicalities it is!

11. The Book Professionals. I'm not sure that this counts.

10. Weekend in Thailand: Part II: Chapter IV: Book VII: The Movie: The Sequel. It's all in the title.

9. Dinosaurs. A documentary from Dinosaurs. I slept through it. It will get better because these are real movies, now.

8. Dark Shadows. Had to put it in. One of the few movies I saw. Didn't care for it. Maybe the atmosphere I was in got it higher.

7. Madagascar 3. Better than the second at least. A good way to close out the franchise.

6. The Dark Knight Rises. I technically didn't see it, but the trailer was good enough to convince me that it was going to be amazing.

5. Four Nights in October. The story of how the Red Sox came back from being down 3-0 to beat the Yanks in 2004. Loved the drama so much. It was so good.

4. Men in Black 3. Saw this one at the drive-in. Once again, better than the second. It was a good way to end the franchise. Will Smith was awesome as always and Josh Brolin was also great.

3. Think Like A Man. A pretty quality movie with Kevin Hart. Humorous, but not so much of a rom com. I liked it!

2. The Avengers. I almost put this at number one. The awesome, action, superhero film was so awesome with a great ensemble cast. No surprise it made a billion dollars plus.

1. Here Comes the Boom. It was just too amazing. Not your average Kevin James film. It had real plot structure. A good ending, a good moral, good acting. It surprised me.

Top 12 Shows of 2012

12. Sportscenter. I always watch it every morning and it's always very great. Lots of work goes into that. For that, I thank it.

11. Psych. Their possibly final season might be coming up, but I still want to know what happened last season! So funny!

10. 30 Rock. Things are up a notch for the final season. Who knows how it will end? Will Liz even stay married? Who knows?

9. Hawaii Five-O. This show continues to be one of the few dramas that manages to catch my interest. Each episode has potential. Plus, Scott Caan.

8. Go On. This new comedy from Matthew Perry is sure to be on the list for years to come. I love it already. Hope it can stick around and not get cancelled.

7. Hotel Impossible. A new discovery this year, I was immediately hooked. Anthony Melchiorri's assertiveness is just so great.

6. College Gameday. Every time that they travelled to Gainesville this season, the Gators chomped. Big thanks for the Corso.

5. Billy on the Street. Another new discovery from 2012, Billy Eichner can be counted on to make every episode ever hilarious. For a dollar!

4. The Office. It's dropping quickly. It's still my all-time favorite and I expect it to be much higher next year. Still improving? How does it do it? So great.

3. Chuck. The final season of this show was B.A. The series finale was greatly amazing. Plus, never go wrong with Jeffster.

2. Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Jimmy Fallon is definitely going to be the next mega-superstar. Each episode is new, hilarious, and exciting!

1. Community. How could I not pick it? Digital Estate Planning, Introduction to Finality. Two of the greatest. Six seasons and a movie!
