Argument 76: The Bird vs. Pierce Argument

Advantage: Bird

This argument is essentially asking about which one is the greater Celtic. Pierce may have 2000 more points, but Bird has the advantage in assists and rebounds, while scoring over 20,000 points. There's no question that, even though Pierce isn't done yet, Bird will go done as the greater Celtic and possibly the greatest basketball player in Boston history. He is, in my opinion. And if every argument comes down to the comparison of championships, it's still advantage Bird. Although, Pierce's number is one touch higher than Bird's. But that doesn't quite matter.
