That one would probably get right up to number two on my list. I considered the Mothers Day Miracle, 1975's Game 6, Smokey Joe Wood's pitching duel, Babe Ruth's ejection game, Ted Williams' final game. Hell, I even had the picture of Game 4 of the 2004 ALCS in this post until I remembered a different ALCS. 2008's ALCS. Game 5 was magical and when you look at it all, incredibly impossible, yet so amazing. The Sox were on the brink of elimination and were down 7-0 in the bottom of the seventh, when Dustin Pedroia came to the plate. He singled to right and Jed Lowrie scored on the play. Up next, David Ortiz hit a three run homer to score Pedroia and Coco Crisp. Suddenly, it was 7-4. Bottom of the eighth now. J.D. Drew smacks a two-run shot to score Jason Bay. Coco Crisp would then single to right and get Mark Kotsay across the plate. Suddenly, it's 7-7 in the bottom of the ninth. What?! What?! Not done yet. J.D. Drew goes back at it. He singles to score Kevin Youkilis and the Red Sox win. HOLY $#^!

I think the 2004 game was better.
