There was a lot of talk that Matt Lauer would exit the Today show and Ryan Seacrest would take his place. However, Matt Lauer eventually elected to stay. So no go on Seacrest, right? Wrong, Seacrest is still coming to Today. He will serve as a special correspondent. Seacrest's plate is definitely full now: New Year's (still miss you, Dick Clark), American Idol, Extra, E!, London Olympics, Top 40. He's got a lot to do, but with Matt Lauer and Al Roker by his side, anything is possible!
Sounds like busy times ahead for the both of them!
