A Farewell to Arms

The Boston Red Sox were very busy at the trade deadline this year. It was one of the biggest deadlines in recent memory of the MLB. The Sox traded away eighty percent of their starting rotation, including Jake Peavy, Felix Doubront, John Lackey, and yes, Jon Lester, who had been through so much in Boston. This post is a tribute to our beloved former Bostonians. Also traded were Stephen Drew, Andrew Miller, and Jonny Gomes. They were all part of the 2013 World Series title, but Lester was there for 2007, too. I want to thank all of them for everything they did for the organization. And Lester? I'll see you back in a Boston uniform soon. Boston strong.
